"LaurYn Hutchinson gets called into World Cup Qualifiers"

ĒVLV Co-founder, Lauryn Hutchinson, has been called into National Team camp with Trinidad & Tobago to prepare for the 2018 World Cup Qualifying Matches. With the vision of Qualifying for the 2019 Women's World Cup in France, Hutchinson is excited to be back with the team. 

"Representing my fathers country is an honor and feeling I can't explain. It's also important for me to set an example for our ĒVLV girls. Growing up I wasn't the best player on the field but I had passion and energy for the game. I developed late as a player and have been blessed to be called into my second FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifier."

The Women Soca Warriors have qualified for the 2018 CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers and will compete in the United States this coming October.

"EVLV Partners with WAGS to empower young women in officiating"

This summer ĒVLV and Julie Heiry from WAGS teamed up for a female-only referee course. The course was a free Classroom & On-Field Training: Curriculum that include pre-class online tutorials, classroom instruction on the Laws of the Game (LOTG) as well as on-field training in mechanics, positioning, and teamwork. A written test was given and graded at the end of the class and all participants who receive a passing grade became certified soccer referees. Instructors provided additional information about next steps to begin working as a soccer referee.

"GEDI Launches educational support for ĒVLV Athletes"

GEDI's Cheryl Golden is a 20 year veteran National Board Certified Teacher. She will be working with our ĒVLV athletes on study skills, PSAT/SAT/ACT prep, essay writing and college readiness. In addition, she is available for weekly tutoring as needed.
